By this we mean the stakeholders within our business community. We are at a period in our life where we are faced with a lot of developmental challenges (bad roads and rail, unsustainable and unaffordable housing, unemployment, lack of innovative product and development opportunities etc). These disguise problems are opportunities in themselves. Meeting these challenges head on is what Weccu Africa Quarries stands for. We want to put ourselves forward because we know so doing, we will be solving the challenges of our People, Planet, Eradicating poverty, Prosperity, Peace and Fostering Good quality Partnerships with our amazing stakeholders.

Our values are routed in the believe our forefathers had in our ability to be self reliant and capable of managing our own affairs. “Today from now on, there is a new African in the world,” said Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. “ That new African is ready to fight his own battles (build, create, design and manufacture, innovative and build our roads, rail, continent and communities) and show that after all we are more than capable of managing our own affairs.” To do this we will need, love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control ( self-restraint, continence) and a can do attitude. OUR FLEET

Our transport fleet continues to grow immensely the day and soon we will be in the position of meeting demands across the country. Weccu Africa Quarries limited ensures we maintain maximum efficiency and reliability, whilst also meeting our environmental commitments. Our fleet of Vehicles consist of wholly owned vehicles that service our customers both near and far. We also have owner drivers who are fully vetted and contracted us to provide excellent delivery service of our product to our valued customers. This partnership is a way of creating employment with in our communities. we are proud to say, we have worked alongside these drivers for some number of years. 

COMPANY

WECCU AFRICA QUARRIES LTD is a family owned business which is based in Ghana West Africa. Our headquarters is at East Legon, Accra, about 48km from the proposed Muete Hills Quarry located at the east in the Greater Accra Region. The strategic purpose of the company is to process and add value to granite stone for sale to the construction and housing industry in the world. WAQ believes in the United Nations sustainable development goal and we structure our operations to foster the achievements of these goals- “ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.”

PRODUCTS​

The  Muete  Hills granite deposits are part of a  crop of inselbergs standing at elevations between 200ft  and  500ft  contour on the 29.96 acres WAQ  land at  Asutuare in the Shai Osudoku  District Assembly  (SODA)  area of the  Accra  Plains in the  Greater  Accra  Region of southeastern Ghana.

The deposits are underlain banded garnetiferous gneiss,  a metamorphic unit of the Dahomeyan supper group that covers the southeastern part of  Ghana.  The rocks are granular,  crystalline, siliceous,  hard,  competent, and banded.  The queryable quantity  is estimated to be more than 12million MT

Our site at MUETE Hills processes a wide range of natural Granite aggregates and recycled and environmentally-friendly solutions that help to minimize the impact of challenges posed environmental factors.

Through extensive research, we have developed a range of products that can enrich the initial stages of the food production process that can result in higher quality agricultural products.

MUETE HILL/ EASTERN RIGION
